Misunderstood Games is a small, independent studio making free, original browser games that you can play the instant a page loads — no downloads, no installers, no accounts, and no tracking. Every game here was built by hand to run smoothly on a phone, a tablet, or a decade-old laptop.
We build short, replayable games that load fast and respect your time and your device. The collection spans three kinds of play:
Every game is written from scratch — no game-portal templates, no recycled clones, no half-finished demos. Each one is a single, self-contained page of hand-written HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which is why they open instantly and keep working even on a weak connection. We tune the difficulty, the controls, and the feel of each game ourselves, and we keep improving them after release.
The games are completely free. We cover hosting costs with a small amount of advertising and the occasional cup of coffee from people who enjoy the site. There's nothing to buy, no paywall, and no "premium" version — what you see is the whole thing.
Misunderstood Games is built as a general-audience, family-friendly site rather than a service directed at children. We collect no personal information, run no analytics, and request only non-personalized advertising. Your high scores are saved on your own device and never sent to us.
