Battlezone
Battlezone is a retro first-person wireframe tank shooter. You're locked in an alien arena, and enemy tanks are closing in from every direction. Spin your turret, advance and retreat across the grid, and blast them before they line you up. It's a faithful recreation of the classic 1980 Atari arcade cabinet — raw vectors, CRT glow, and pure reaction speed.
How to Play
Drive your tank around the arena using the controls below. Enemy tanks spawn at the edges and home in on your position. Line up a shot and fire before they do. Hitting a target scores points; taking a hit costs a life.
- Keyboard: A / ◀ turn left, D / ▶ turn right, W / ▲ forward, S / ▼ reverse, Space fire.
- Touch & mobile: use the on-screen buttons — left/right to turn, forward/reverse to move, FIRE to shoot.
- Enemy tanks will also fire back — don't stay in their sights.
Tips & Strategy
- Keep strafing. A stationary tank is the easiest shot in the game. Stay in motion even while aiming.
- Use the radar. Check the mini-map to know which direction threats are approaching from.
- Lead your shots. Moving targets need the crosshair a fraction ahead of where they are now.
- Retreat to buy time. Backing up puts distance between you and an incoming shot.
About This Game
