Brick Basher
Brick Basher is a classic breakout-style arcade game where you bounce a ball off a paddle to smash through rows of colour-coded bricks. Clear every brick on the screen to advance to the next level — but the ball only gets faster, and losing it means losing a life. It's easy to pick up and surprisingly hard to put down.
How to Play
Move the paddle left and right to keep the ball in play. When the ball hits a brick, the brick breaks and the ball bounces back. Clear all the bricks to complete the level. The game ends when you run out of lives.
- Mouse or trackpad: move the cursor to position the paddle.
- Touch: drag your finger left and right to move the paddle.
- Keyboard: ◀ / A move left, ▶ / D move right.
- Click or tap on the launch screen to release the ball.
Tips & Strategy
- Aim for the corners. Getting the ball to bounce into the upper corners lets it mow down bricks without you needing to touch the paddle.
- Watch the angle. The ball angle changes based on where it hits the paddle — hitting the edges gives you a sharper angle to target awkward bricks.
- Don't chase the ball. Stay near the centre and react — overcommitting to one side leaves the other open.
- Gold bricks take multiple hits. Don't panic when a brick doesn't break immediately.
