Checkers — Robots vs Aliens
The timeless game of diagonal warfare, reskinned as a battle between a squad of chrome robots and an invading alien swarm. Slide pieces, force jumps, crown your kings, and wipe the enemy off the board. Set the AI from a gentle beginner to a calculating master.
How to Play
This is standard American checkers (English draughts) on an 8×8 board. Robots move first.
- Tap or click one of your pieces, then tap a highlighted square to move it diagonally forward to an empty dark square.
- Capturing: jump diagonally over an adjacent enemy piece into the empty square beyond it. Captures are mandatory — if you can jump, you must.
- Multi-jumps: if another jump is available after landing, you must keep jumping with the same piece.
- Kings: reach the far row to crown a piece. Kings (marked with a 👑) can move and jump both forward and backward.
- Winning: capture all enemy pieces, or leave your opponent with no legal move.
Difficulty
- Levels 1–2 · Beginner: shallow lookahead and frequent mistakes — great for learning.
- Levels 3–4 · Casual: sensible play with the occasional slip.
- Levels 5–6 · Club player: sees several moves ahead and sets traps.
- Levels 7–8 · Expert: deep search, rarely misses a tactic.
- Levels 9–10 · Master: the toughest setting — plan carefully.
Tips & Strategy
- Control the center — central pieces have more options and are harder to trap.
- Hold your back row early to stop the enemy from crowning kings.
- Set up multi-jumps — a forced capture can lead your opponent into losing several pieces at once.
- Trade when ahead. If you're up material, swapping pieces simplifies toward a win.
