Cryptid Bounce

Cryptid Bounce is a pachinko-style peg bouncer starring the world's most famous cryptids. Aim your launcher, fire a ball, and watch it ricochet through a field of pegs. Clear every orange peg to win the board — and hit a glowing green peg to unleash your chosen cryptid's special power.

How to Play

Each shot drops a single ball that bounces off pegs and walls under gravity. Pegs you touch light up and are cleared at the end of the shot. Your goal on every board is to clear all the orange pegs before you run out of balls.

• Mouse: move to aim, click to fire (or click the FIRE button).
• Touch: drag anywhere to aim, then tap the on-screen FIRE button to shoot.
• Keyboard: arrow keys nudge the aim, Space fires.
• Free ball: land your ball in the moving bucket at the bottom, or earn one every 30 pegs you hit.
• Ball bonus: clear the whole board and the bottom opens into a row of point cups — every leftover ball is fired in for bonus points, with the centre 10k cup worth the most.

The Cryptids

• 🦶 Bigfoot — Forest Stomp: stomps the earth, blasting every nearby peg off the board.
• 👹 Jersey Devil — Hellfire: ignites your ball into a fireball that erupts on every peg it touches.
• 🦋 Mothman — Omen: sees the future, revealing your ball's full bounce path before you fire.
• 🐺 Chupacabra — Blood Frenzy: splits your ball into a chaotic multiball.
• 🦕 Loch Ness — Tidal Surge: a wave surges up from the deep, clearing the lowest band of pegs.
• 🥶 Yeti — Big Chill: turns your ball ice-cold and super-bouncy for the whole shot.
• 🦌 Wendigo — Devour: tears straight through every peg in the ball's path.
• 🦦 King Otter — Lucky Splash: grants a free ball and widens the catch bucket.

Campaign, Medals & the Gauntlet

Only Bigfoot is unlocked at first. Each cryptid has a 5-board campaign with fixed layouts (the orange/blue colours are reshuffled every play). Pick a cryptid to open its board picker — your progress is saved, so you start back at the furthest board you've reached and can replay any earlier one. Clear all five to earn that cryptid's championship and unlock the next one — the boards get tougher as you go, with more orange pegs, fewer balls and a narrower bucket from Bigfoot through to King Otter.

Every board you clear scores a medal — Bronze, Silver, Gold or Ace — based on how big you score, so there's always a reason to replay a board for a better run. Beat all eight cryptids and you unlock the Cryptid Gauntlet: an endless run that rotates through every cryptid's power and keeps getting harder until you run out of balls. Chase your best Gauntlet score.

Tips & Strategy

• Save the greens. Try to leave a green peg for when you most need its power — like a board with one stubborn orange peg left.
• Chase the multiplier. The more orange pegs you clear, the higher your score multiplier climbs — up to 10×.
• Aim for clusters. A ball that threads into a dense pocket of pegs racks up huge ascending combos.
• Bank the bucket. Lining a falling ball up with the bucket keeps your ball count healthy across long boards.
