Newtonian Putt Putt
Newtonian Putt Putt is an 18-hole mini-golf game across the solar system where every shot obeys real physics. You putt through the Sun's corona, bounce off asteroid-belt rocks, slingshot around gas giants, and eventually sink a putt beside the supermassive black hole at the centre of the galaxy. Gravity is different on every hole — which makes club selection very interesting.
How to Play
Drag back from the ball to aim and set your power, then release to putt. The direction and length of your drag determine the shot angle and speed. Land the ball in the hole to complete the hole — fewer strokes is a better score.
- Mouse: click and drag back from the ball to aim, release to shoot.
- Touch: tap and drag back from the ball, release to shoot.
- Mulligan: press the Mulligan button to restart the current hole if you hit a bad shot.
- Scorecard: tap Card to see your running score across all 18 holes.
Tips & Strategy
- Gravity changes every hole. The black hole hole pulls hard — a gentle putt on Earth needs much more power in low-gravity environments and vice versa.
- Use banks. Many holes have walls you can bounce off to reach the cup from awkward angles.
- Shorter drag, softer shot. On small or tight holes, a short pull gives you much more control than trying to power through.
- Watch the ball trail. The faint line shows your previous shot path — use it to adjust aim on the next attempt.
About This Game
Newtonian Putt Putt is a physics-based mini-golf game built entirely in the browser. Every planetary body uses real gravitational constants and Newtonian mechanics. No downloads, no installs, no data sent anywhere. It's part of the free arcade collection at Misunderstood Games.
