Hangman
Hangman is the classic word-guessing game where you have six chances to figure out a hidden word before the stick figure is fully drawn. Guess letters one by one, build up your word, and keep your streak alive across themed categories. It's a vocabulary workout dressed up as a game of life and death.
How to Play
A hidden word is shown as blank dashes — one per letter. Guess a letter by clicking or tapping it on the keyboard. If it's in the word, all matching letters are revealed. If it isn't, the hangman drawing gets one step closer to complete. Six wrong guesses and the run ends.
- Keyboard: type any letter to guess it.
- On-screen buttons: tap a letter on the displayed keyboard.
- Correctly guessing the full word adds to your streak. A wrong guess that completes the hangman ends the streak.
- Words are drawn from themed categories — animals, places, movies, and more.
Tips & Strategy
- Start with vowels. E, A, O, I, U appear in almost every word — clearing them early narrows down the possibilities fast.
- Then try the high-frequency consonants: T, N, S, R, H, L are the most common in English words.
- Look at the word pattern. A five-letter word starting with TH_ is likely "THERE" or "THEIR" or "THANE" — use the shape.
- Save rare letters for last. J, Q, X, Z, and K are low-probability guesses — only go there when you're fairly sure.
